  • 500 g salmon fillet , fresh and skinless
  • 250 ml cheddar , finely diced
  • 125 ml pepper(s) , finely diced
  • 2 green onion(s) , finely chopped
  • 60 ml dill , minced fresh
  • 7,5 ml lemon zest
  • 1 egg(s)
  • To taste, salt and pepper
  • 6 kaiser rolls , cut in half
  • To taste, pepper(s) strips as toppings
  • To taste, avocado(s) in slices as toppings
  • 500 g salmon fillet , fresh and skinless
  • 250 ml cheddar , finely diced
  • 125 ml pepper(s) , finely diced
  • 2 green onion(s) , finely chopped
  • 60 ml dill , minced fresh
  • 7,5 ml lemon zest
  • 1 egg(s)
  • To taste, salt and pepper
  • 6 kaiser rolls , cut in half
  • To taste, pepper(s) strips as toppings
  • To taste, avocado(s) in slices as toppings

  1. Use a food processor to coarsely chop the salmon.
  2. Mix together the salmon, cheddar, peppers, green onions, dill, lemon zest, and egg in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well and shape into 6 patties with your hands.
  3. Preheat barbecue to medium.
  4. Place salmon patties on a foil sheet and lay on grill. Cook patties 4 to 5 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 70°C (158°F).
  5. Place kaisers on barbecue rack and toast about 1 minute per side.
  6. Place a salmon patty on the bottom half of each roll and top with some pepper strips and avocado slices. Spread the condiment of your choice (if using) like mayonnaise or tartar sauce on the other half of the roll.
  7. Close the burger and serve.
