  • 1,8 kg pork spareribs (pork back ribs), cut into two-bone portions
  • 250 ml ketchup
  • 60 ml brown sugar
  • 60 ml maple syrup
  • 60 ml cider vinegar or white vinegar
  • 15 ml dijon mustard
  • 15 ml worcestershire sauce
  • 15 ml chili powder
  • 1,8 kg pork spareribs (pork back ribs), cut into two-bone portions
  • 250 ml ketchup
  • 60 ml brown sugar
  • 60 ml maple syrup
  • 60 ml cider vinegar or white vinegar
  • 15 ml dijon mustard
  • 15 ml worcestershire sauce
  • 15 ml chili powder

  1. Bring large pot of salted water to a boil. Add back ribs and let simmer over medium heat for 30 minutes or until cooked.
  2. Meanwhile, mix together all the ingredients for maple BBQ sauce and divide it in half. Set aside.
  3. When ribs are cooked, use tongs to transfer them to a platter.
  4. Preheat barbecue to medium. Grill ribs for 15 minutes. Baste on both sides with half the reserved sauce and continue grilling until lightly charred.
  5. Serve ribs with remaining barbecue sauce.
