  • 680 g beef , medium gounded
  • 2 egg(s) , lightly beaten
  • 60 ml breadcrumbs or panko
  • 60 ml cilantro , chopped and fresh
  • 45 ml soy sauce
  • 30 ml maple syrup
  • 30 ml ginger , chopped and fresh
  • 4 green onion(s) , chopped
  • 2 clove(s) garlic , chopped
  • 680 g beef , medium gounded
  • 2 egg(s) , lightly beaten
  • 60 ml breadcrumbs or panko
  • 60 ml cilantro , chopped and fresh
  • 45 ml soy sauce
  • 30 ml maple syrup
  • 30 ml ginger , chopped and fresh
  • 4 green onion(s) , chopped
  • 2 clove(s) garlic , chopped
prep time
  1. Place oven rack in top position and preheat oven to broil.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Shape meat mixture into 15-mL (1-tbsp.) meatballs and place on baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes or until meatballs are cooked inside, turning halfway through cooking. You can also cook the meatballs in chicken broth over medium heat.

Freezing
If you want to save meatballs for later, freeze uncooked on the baking sheet. Once frozen,
place in an airtight re-sealable plastic bag.

Use
Wow your guests by serving meatballs as appetizers threaded on pretty toothpicks along with
your choice of Asian sauce (honey-garlic, sweet and sour, or orange-ginger).
For a delicious hot sandwich, slice a toasted baguette and brush with mayonnaise. Top with
meatballs and julienned carrots and cucumbers.
For a quick dinner, sauté carrots, celery, and mushrooms. Serve vegetables on some rice
with these delicious meatballs.
