  • 250 ml maple syrup
  • 10 ml corn
  • 375 ml cooking cream 15%
  • To taste, variety of fruits , cut into pieces
  • 1 sponge cake(s) , cut into large cubes
  • 2 plain doughnuts , cut into pieces

prep time
  1. Heat maple syrup in a saucepan over medium heat for 3–4 minutes. Remove from heat.
  2. Dissolve the corn starch in 10 mL (2 tsp.) of cream, stirring often to prevent clumping.
  3. Add remaining cream and dissolved corn starch to maple syrup.
  4. Reheat over medium heat, whisking constantly until mixture thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and keep warm in a chocolate fondue bowl.

Have some leftover fondue? Keep it in the fridge and drizzle it over ice cream for a real treat!
