  • 4 Toulouse sausages
  • 15 ml olive oil
  • 1 baguette
  • To taste, dijon mustard
  • 2 dill pickles (large), thinly sliced
  • 125 ml cheddar , grated

prep time
  1. Place the rack in the upper part of the oven and preheat to broil.
  2. Place sausages on a baking sheet and brush them with olive oil. Broil for 10 to 12 minutes, or until sausages are cooked.
  3. Cut baguette into four equal lengths and then slice each one in half lengthwise without cutting completely through, to form hot dog buns. Place them on a baking sheet and put it in the oven for 3 minutes or until nicely toasted.
  4. Fill the buns with mustard, sausage, pickles, cheddar, and sauerkraut.
