Ingredients

1 kg
boneless beef pot roast
2.2 lb.
80 mL
honey
1/3 cup
60 mL
hoisin sauce
1/4 cup
60 mL
soy sauce
1/4 cup
5 mL
sambal oelek
1 tsp.
4 cloves
garlic
15 mL
fresh ginger,
1 tbsp.
Coarsely chopped salted peanuts,
Freshly chopped cilantro,

Preparation

Step 1
In a bowl, combine honey, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sambal oelek, garlic and ginger.
Step 2
Place beef in slow cooker and pour in half the sauce, evenly coating meat. Turn beef and pour in remaining sauce.
Step 3
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
Step 4
When serving, garnish with chopped peanuts and cilantro. Serve with Asian noodles and green beans.
