Preparation

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Step 2: In a casserole, melt the butter and sauté the onions. Add the flour and stir. Add the milk and bring to a boil while whisking. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 3: In a baking dish, arrange the potatoes and ham. Cover with the sauce and top with parsley and Swiss cheese.

Step 4: Cook in the oven for approximately 40 minutes, or until cheese is golden and the potatoes are cooked.
