  • 30 ml canola oil
  • 4 clove(s) garlic , minced
  • 1 onion(s) , coarsely chopped
  • 2 carrot(s) , coarsely chopped
  • 2 stalk(s) celery , coarsely chopped
  • 4 L chicken broth
  • 5 ml basil , dried
  • 125 ml white wine , dry
  • 60 ml parsley , chopped
  • To taste, salt and pepper
  • 30 ml canola oil
  • 4 clove(s) garlic , minced
  • 1 onion(s) , coarsely chopped
  • 2 carrot(s) , coarsely chopped
  • 2 stalk(s) celery , coarsely chopped
  • 4 L chicken broth
  • 5 ml basil , dried
  • 125 ml white wine , dry
  • 60 ml parsley , chopped
  • To taste, salt and pepper
prep time
  1. Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat and sweat the garlic and onion.
  2. Add carrots and celery and heat 1 more minute.
  3. Add remaining ingredients except for parsley. Bring to a boil and simmer covered over low heat for about 20 minutes.
  4. Filter if desired. Garnish with fresh parsley.
