  • 45 ml olive oil
  • 2 clove(s) garlic , peeled and finely chopped
  • 227 g button mushrooms , quartered
  • 1 sweet red pepper(s) , cut into strips
  • 1 broccoli , separated into small florets and blanched
  • 250 ml parsley chopped flat-leaf
  • 12 leave(s) basil , chopped
  • 15 ml lemon zest (about 1 lemon)
  • 1 ml cayenne pepper flakes
  • To taste, salt and pepper
  • 125 ml parmesan , shaved
  • 375 g linguine

  1. Cook the pasta following package instructions and set aside 125 mL (½ cup) of cooking water.
  2. In a large saucepan, heat oil over mediumhigh heat and sauté garlic, mushrooms, and red pepper strips for 5 minutes, or until mushrooms are lightly browned.
  3. Add the pasta and other ingredients except for the Parmesan to saucepan. Mix well and season with salt and pepper. Heat until pasta is hot, adding a little cooking water as needed.
  4. Remove saucepan from heat and add shaved Parmesan; mix well and serve.
