  • Sauce

  • 30 ml dijon mustard
  • 15 ml honey

  • 2 green onion(s) , finely chopped (white and green parts separated)
  • 2 chicken breasts , boneless and skinless
  • 80 ml honey
  • 30 ml white vinegar
  • 60 ml chicken broth
  • To taste, pepper , freshly grounded
  • 4-6 hamburger buns
  • Sauce
  • 60 ml mayonnaise
  • 30 ml dijon mustard
  • 15 ml honey
prep time
  1. Combine mustard and white part of green onions in a bowl. Coat chicken breasts completely with mixture and marinate in the same bowl for 1 hour in the fridge.
  2. Add honey, vinegar, and broth to slow cooker and mix to combine. Add chicken breasts and season with pepper.
  3. Cook for 3 to 4 hours on low, turning chicken breasts once or twice. Chicken is ready when meat pulls away easily. Do not overcook.
  4. Let chicken cool slightly and then pull away meat. Add cooking juices to pulled chicken and mix to combine.
  5. Combine sauce ingredients with green part of onions. Set aside.
  6. Spread sauce on each half of burger buns, add still-warm pulled chicken, and top with toppings of your choice.
