  • 250 ml plain Greek yogurt
  • 250 ml English cucumber , grated
  • 2 clove(s) garlic , finely chopped
  • 15 ml oregano , dried
  • 1 ml salt
  • 4 souvlakis of choice
  • 4 pitas
  • 375 ml lettuce (leaf), thinly sliced
  • 1 red onion(s) , sliced into rings
  • 2 tomatoes , sliced
  • 250 ml plain Greek yogurt
  • 250 ml English cucumber , grated
  • 2 clove(s) garlic , finely chopped
  • 15 ml oregano , dried
  • 1 ml salt
  • 4 souvlakis of choice
  • 4 pitas
  • 375 ml lettuce (leaf), thinly sliced
  • 1 red onion(s) , sliced into rings
  • 2 tomatoes , sliced
prep time
  1. Mix together the yogurt, cucumber, garlic, oregano, and salt in a medium-size bowl. Refrigerate.
  2. Preheat the barbecue to medium and oïl the grill.
  3. Cook souvlaki according to instructions on package. When souvlaki is almost done, warm pitas on upper grill or the unlit side of barbecue.
  4. Brush the pitas with a generous amount of tzatziki sauce and top with the souvlaki meat. Garnish with leaf lettuce, red onion, and slices of tomato.
  5. Roll up the pitas and wrap the bottom half with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
