  • 80 ml semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 45 ml butter
  • 125 ml flour all purpose
  • 100 g almond(s) , grounded
  • 125 ml milk
  • 80 ml 35% M.F. cream

  • 80 ml sugar
  • 5 ml vanilla extract
  • 250 ml fresh strawberries , sliced
  • 80 ml semi-sweet chocolate chips

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) and place the rack in middle of the oven.
  2. Grease a 20-cm (8-in.) aluminum pie pan with 15 mL of butter.
  3. Melt remaining butter in microwave. Combine the flour, almonds, milk, cream, eggs, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla in a bowl. Whisk until smooth. Add strawberries and chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the batter into pie pan and bake 35 to 40 minutes, until filling is set and the crust is puffed up and browned on the edges.

Chef’s tip

Before serving, complete the presentation by topping it with a little grated chocolate

or icing sugar, or both.
