Preparation

Step 1
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
In a skillet over medium heat, brown sausages and onion in oil. Add rice and continue frying for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Deglaze with beer and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Place sausages and rice in a baking dish and add remaining ingredients (except green peas). Season to taste.
Step 4
Cover and bake for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Monitor amount of liquid and add more if required.
Step 5
Add peas 30 to 45 minutes before end of cooking. Adjust seasoning before serving.
