Preheat barbecue to medium-high. Oil grill.
In a bowl, combine beef, cheese, barbecue sauce, egg, and spice seasoning.
Shape mixture into 4 patties.
Grill patties about 15 minutes or until no longer pink and internal temperature has reached 70°C (160°F), turning halfway through cooking.
Toast buns on the barbecue grill about 1 to 2 minutes per side.
Place patties on a half bun and garnish with your favourite toppings.
