It just wouldn’t be summer without sweet corn!


1/2 lb
soft butter
225 g
2 tbsp
steak seasoning
30 ml
3 tbsp
chopped chives
45 ml
ears corn, shucked except for half the husk, silk removed


Step 1
In a bowl, combine butter, steak seasoning, and chives. Mould into a square, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Step 2
Bring a large pot of unsalted water to a boil. Plunge ears and husks* into the water and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
Step 3
Serve corn hot with seasoned butter.
Step 4
*Husks add flavour to ears of corn.
