  • 360 g beef grounded
  • 500 ml zucchini(s) , grated (about 1 zucchini)
  • 250 ml carrot(s) , grated (about 1 carrot)
  • 1 onion(s) , chopped
  • 250 ml cheddar , grated
  • 125 ml quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 125 ml parsley , chopped
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 650 ml tomato sauce
  • To taste, salt and pepper
  • 360 g pork grounded
  • 360 g beef grounded
  • 500 ml zucchini(s) , grated (about 1 zucchini)
  • 250 ml carrot(s) , grated (about 1 carrot)

  • 250 ml cheddar , grated
  • 125 ml quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 125 ml parsley , chopped

  • 650 ml tomato sauce
  • To taste, salt and pepper
prep time
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the meat, vegetables, cheese, oats, parsley, egg, and 125 mL (½ cup) tomato sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour 1/3 of remaining tomato sauce or enough to cover the bottom of a loaf pan.
  4. Shape a loaf with the meat mixture and place it in the pan. Top with remaining sauce.
  5. Bake for 1 hour. Serve with mashed potatoes and peas.
