Preparation

Step 1
Dredge beef cubes in flour. Heat oil in a large heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium-high heat. Sauté beef cubes for 3 or 4 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 2
Add garlic and onion and continue sautéing for another 2 minutes. Pour in wine and scrape bottom of the saucepan to free cooking juices. Season to taste.
Step 3
Transfer to a slow cooker. Cook on low for 6 hours.
Step 4
Add remaining ingredients and continue cooking for 1 hour.
